pop-up in waikiki @kupulau

sometimes last minute decisions seem to work out the best and the most fun or productive.

somehow i reconnected with my long-time friends from my corporate work days in tokyo. back then who would have thought i would be showcasing indian scarves and my friend haruko, being a business owner in waikiki.  they own a gift shop, kupulau in waikiki, a very cute place in the heart of waikiki.

about a month ago, trying to plan my schedule for may & june, pop-up idea in waikiki came up, at kupulau.

as a japanese, of course, you have to go to hawaii, at least once in a life time.  well, i used that ticket up long time ago.  coming to think, the last time i was in hawaii was with my family in 1998.  

so after almost 2 decades, here i am back in hawaii, this time in waikiki at kupulau doing a pop-up, with my old-time-sake friends.
